Why the Core Group for you and your child?

The Core Group was made for parents who need last minute childcare that they can count on and trust.  Being a  small organization, parents really get to know their babysitters over time, and begin to feel comfortable calling upon certain babysitters they and their child/children enjoy.  Core Group members needing a last minute babysitter when their regular babysitter or full time nanny are not available know that they can call the Core Group to help them.
How can the Core Group save me time?
  Because the Core Group is an on-call and temporary service, extra amounts of time are taken to check out all potential babysitters thoroughly.  Phone interviews, face to face interviews and reference checks are all performed for each babysitter.  One call or email to the Core Group handles your request.  The ease of making one call to the Core group handles what 10 calls would make.  The Core Group organizes, schedules, and coordinates the request with the final call being a confirmation of a babysitter to the parent. 
 
  Who does the Core Group hire?
 
 

The Core Group primarily hires college students from local areas.  Many students are constantly looking for work that will fit their daily hectic schedules as well as fulfill them.  Because students' time is very valuable, they are very conscious in what jobs they choose.  They therefore also greatly understand a parent's time.  Students come to Core Group because they are genuinely interested in children and interacting with them.  Many of the students Core Group hires are presently involved in a major that is related in some form or another to children.  In the end, you will find that as a Core Group member you will grow very fond of it's organization and its people.
 
  How do I sign up?
 
 

Signing up is easy.  Just call, email, or submit an application form.  For immediate assistance call Core Group at 415 786 5677.
 
  How does the billing cycle work?
 
  Core Group bills all scheduling fees from the 25th to the 25th. Clients get a discounted rate of $12 per usage if core Group is used 7 during our billing cycle. Sitters are paid by the client directly each time they baby-sit, cash or check.
